In OnControlLoaded method the ctrl parameter is every time null!

Every time i start project the ctrl parameter in OnControlLoaded method is null and the app ends execution. Why it happens?

I believe you refer the eDrawings example, don't you? If so most likely your eDrawings version doesn't match the interop version. Read the last paragraph here

Yes, I was referring to that. I imported the class at the end of the paragraph, but the result does not change. Sorry I'm not very practical in explanations :(

If you just want to make it work on your machine (or on your version of eDrawings, simply replace the interop in the thirdpty folder to the one you have on your machine.

Is it possible to run the application without having installed eDrawings, therefore using only the dlls?

No, I'm afraid you need to have eDrawings installed. But free eDrawings viewer would work

Sorry for the delay. I haven't used STEP viewer, but I have found this one: https://github.com/anycad/StpViewer. As I mentioned I'm not sure how good is this.

Regarding an error, please make sure you have your project compiled for x64 (i.e. Prefer 32 bit option is checked off in the project settings)
