JBox2D
================================================================================
The package com.codename1.gaming.physics.box2d is a derived work of JBox2D
(https://github.com/jbox2d/jbox2d), a Java port of Erin Catto's Box2D physics
engine. The sources have been repackaged from org.jbox2d into
com.codename1.gaming.physics.box2d and lightly adapted for the Codename One
virtual machines, with no algorithmic changes. The adaptations are mechanical
and reproducible, so the engine can be re-vendored from a newer JBox2D release:
* StrictMath is replaced with Math and GWT specific emulation removed.
* The unused java.io.Serializable markers (and serialVersionUID fields) are
stripped from the math classes -- Codename One apps do not serialize them.
* The internal profiling Timer helper, which duplicated functionality the
platform already provides, is removed and inlined to direct
System.currentTimeMillis() arithmetic at its call sites.
The original copyright and license notices are retained in each source file.

Duke (the Java mascot)
================================================================================
The image scripts/gamebuilder/common/src/main/resources/duke_wave.png is the
Java mascot "Duke" in his classic waving pose, used as card art in the Game
Builder sample's "Duke Jack" tutorial. It was rasterized from the SVG
"File:Duke (Java mascot) waving.svg" on Wikimedia Commons and then trimmed and
downscaled; no changes were made to the artwork itself.

ASM
================================================================================
The package com.codename1.tools.translator.classfile (and its analysis and tree
subpackages) in vm/ByteCodeTranslator is a rewrite of parts of ASM
(https://asm.ow2.io), the Java bytecode framework ParparVM's translator used to
read class files. It keeps ASM's API and design -- the visitor interfaces, the
instruction tree, the frame analyzer and its interpreters -- reduced to what the
translator uses, so the translator no longer depends on ASM and can translate
itself. The original copyright and license notice is retained in each source
file.

.NET Standard reference assembly
================================================================================
The "references" artifact of maven/unity-compat (codenameone-unity-compat,
classifier references) holds the assemblies the C# scripts of a Unity project
are compiled against. One of them, netstandard.dll, is the .NET Standard 2.1
reference assembly from the NuGet package NETStandard.Library.Ref 2.1.0
(https://www.nuget.org/packages/NETStandard.Library.Ref/2.1.0), redistributed
unmodified. It declares the API of the .NET base library and contains no
implementation; it is read by the C# compiler and the translator at build time
and is never part of an application.
The package's LICENSE.TXT and THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.TXT are kept verbatim in
maven/unity-compat/third-party/NETStandard.Library.Ref and ship inside the
artifact under META-INF/licenses/NETStandard.Library.Ref.

Android Open Source Project: SensorManager math
================================================================================
maven/android-compat/src/main/java/android/hardware/SensorMath.java is rewritten
from the static methods of android.hardware.SensorManager in the Android Open
Source Project (https://source.android.com), so that rotation matrices,
orientation angles and altitude computed by Android applications on the
Codename One compatibility runtime match the platform's. It retains the
original copyright notice:

GroupLayout
================================================================================
The class com.codename1.desktopcompat.javax.swing.GroupLayout in
maven/swing-compat is adapted from Codename One's own port of the group layout,
CodenameOne/src/com/codename1/ui/layouts/GroupLayout.java, which is derived from
the GroupLayout Oracle published for the Java platform. The adaptation gives the
class the javax.swing API -- its method names, its Alignment enumeration and the
LayoutStyle.ComponentPlacement gap types -- reads minimum and maximum sizes from
the components, and retargets the layout at the Swing compatibility layer's own
java.awt component classes. The original copyright and license notice is
retained in the source file.
The file is distributed under the GNU General Public License version 2 with the
"Classpath" exception, the license of Codename One itself (see LICENSE):

FloatingDecimal digit generation
================================================================================
The class java.text.LegacyDoubleDigits, in vm/JavaAPI/src/java/text and
Ports/CLDC11/src/java/text, is a rewrite of the digit generation in OpenJDK's
sun.misc.FloatingDecimal (BinaryToASCIIBuffer.dtoa) and the FDBigInteger
arithmetic it uses, reduced to what java.text.DecimalFormat needs so that the
class formats a double with the digits the JDK's DecimalFormat produces. The
file is distributed under the GNU General Public License version 2 with the
"Classpath" exception, the license of Codename One itself (see LICENSE), and
keeps OpenJDK's notice:

libsecp256k1 and ed25519-donna (native crypto kernels)
================================================================================
vm/ByteCodeTranslator/src/cn1_crypto_kernels_amalgamation.h is generated by
scripts/crypto-kernels/amalgamate.py from two upstream projects, carried
verbatim apart from the include flattening and the static linkage the script
applies. ParparVM compiles it into an application that uses the elliptic-curve
or Keccak APIs of com.codename1.security.
The same sources are compiled by Ports/Android/crypto-jni/build.sh into
maven/build-engine/src/main/resources/com/codename1/builders/android-crypto/
jniLibs/<abi>/libcn1crypto.so, which the Android builder adds to an
application that uses those APIs.
libsecp256k1 (https://github.com/bitcoin-core/secp256k1) is distributed under

ed25519-donna (https://github.com/floodyberry/ed25519-donna) by Andrew Moon
