'Calibrate with endstop' not working as expected

When running the setup and selecting Calibrate with endstop, the rotor moves to the endstop and pauses, but only moved up about 30 degrees instead of the 55degrees necessary to return the camera to the 90degree position.
I have ran it a few times with the same outcome.

in the software I can press the endstop and the "endstop pressed" text will change from 'no' to 'yes' so I can confirm it is registering.

I suspect that this behaviour is caused by motor settings. My guess is that the steps_per_rotation of the rotor is set to high in the default config. Another (but rather unlikely) cause could be too high acceleration or max_speed setting which may cause skipping of motor steps.

To verify this: What is the motor angle after triggering the endstop and the insufficient home movement? I guess it will be 90.

Yes I did confirm that the Blacksheild v2 Mini config is setting the Steps per Rotation to 10240 where previous documentation says to set it to 40960.
To answer your previous question, when I trigger 'calibrate with endstop' the camera only reaches about 120°.

it may be helpful to have the steps per rotation setting available at this screen in order to change it in order to fine tune them. Unless i am the only one having this issue, in which case i need to look at other settings to resolve this.

Did you try if setting steps_per_rotation to 40960 solves the problem?

Maybe I have misconfigured micro-stepping on my test device and therefore chose the wrong values for the default config.
