Describe the bug
Several issues occur when using LeanType with a physical keyboard:
- "Ctrl + Space" crashes LeanType instead of switching language.
- "Shift + Space" does nothing.
- There is no working shortcut to open the emoji panel using the physical keyboard.
- When "Show toolbar with physical keyboard" is enabled, the toolbar appears empty.
- There is no way to assign custom shortcuts for actions such as opening the clipboard without showing the virtual keyboard.
To Reproduce
- Connect a physical keyboard to an Android device.
- Enable multiple languages in LeanType.
- Start typing in any text field.
- Press "Ctrl + Space" → LeanType crashes.
- Press "Shift + Space" → nothing happens.
- Enable the physical keyboard toolbar → the toolbar appears empty.
- Try to access emoji or clipboard without opening the virtual keyboard → there is no physical-keyboard shortcut.
Expected behavior
Physical keyboard users should be able to access common LeanType actions without having to show or touch the virtual keyboard.
In particular, language switching should have a working shortcut, and actions such as emoji and clipboard should be accessible through configurable physical-keyboard shortcuts.
It would also be useful to allow users to assign their own shortcuts, for example:
"Alt + E" → Emoji
"Alt + C" → Clipboard
"Ctrl + Space" → Switch language
The clipboard should be able to open and be navigated with the physical keyboard while keeping the virtual keyboard hidden.
