TypeError when creating recruitment plot

This program used to work well for me, but now after I create the database (one genome, one set of mapped reads only) I only have the option for "nothing selected" in the Recruitment Plot tab under (2) select a genome in the sample. This error also appears in R:
Warning: Error in py_call_impl: TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not subscriptable

Everything seems to work fine with the db creation so not sure what's going on?

I tried to attach the genome fasta and recruited reads file but they were not allowed, not even as a zipped folder :(

The current version of the recruitment plots is now here: https://github.com/KGerhardt/RecruitPlotEasy

The error there is a python call error, and unfortunately the R <-> python interface isn't very good about reporting the content of python errors, just that happened. This repository has older R code that makes function calls from a totally different version of the python code - it probably is trying to ask for a function that no longer exists.
