DevStyle / Darkest Dark Theme breaks Eclipse 2026.06

With the newest update of Eclipse to 2026.06 completly broke for me.
If "Use enhanced DevStyle Themes" is enabled, all views break and none of the views are shown anymore, neither ist the coding editor

Trying to open the "Color Themes" Option in the preferences also throws an error and does not open:

The Eclipse eror log says something about an "unhandled event loop exception"

Tried uninstalling restarting and reinstalling, did not change the problem.

• OS: Windows
• OS Version: 11

Only workaround is to disable devstyle

Is this still being actively maintained? I haven't seen any updates to the plugin after Eclipse 2025.09, which is around when codetogether took over from devstyle...

Seems pretty safe to consider the addon dead. This has been broken for all Eclipse 2026.x versions as reported:

Well, anyway, if the authors don't want to maintain it, it can at least be patched locally to continue functioning. Not sure how long that will work for but it's possible to get it operable for 2026.06

It's a real shame it came to this. Eclipse Marketplace is still showing > 3000 downloads a month for this plugin. That's potentially 3000 disappointed users every month.

I second it 👍 its truly shame when someone acquisition something and completely destroyed. this is legacy process kind of now a days.
